Roland Besner, Greg Kielec, and Mary Ann Hug all ran to be Councillors. Jamie Gilcig, who was also elected to the TAG board, ran for Mayor.

Also elected on the TAG board were Eric Covington, Marc Pilotte, and Brian Long.

The previous board, which included City Councillors Elaine MacDonald and Carilyne Hebert, all resigned.

The following message from Sylvie Lizotte was posted on the TAG Facebook page:

The retiring Board of Directors, 2012 – 2014, rose to a unique set of challenges and left TAG well positioned to move into the next phase of development in serving the arts community of Cornwall. I profusely thank them all.

The new Board of Directors, with their impressive career achievements and know how, will bring good governance, strong business sense and a determination to promote the arts and cultures in our community and beyond.

Our membership is strong and some of our new members are bringing a new and unique arts perspective to TAG. TAG has expectations of mounting significant exhibitions and events drawing on the resources of the Board and its membership both new and established. I am very optimistic and look forward to the future of TAG! Sylvie Lizotte, TAG Cornwall
