Bernadette Clement 2015

“We did not choose Morrisburg as a destination for our launch. In some way, Morrisburg chose us. Since this campaign started, we’ve seen a tremendous amount of support pouring in from this region from lawn sign requests to donations . It’s been remarkable. We’ve even received calls and emails from conservative voters who are fed up with the performance of this government and their representation”, explained Clement.

The next event during Clement’s week long launch will be the Official Campaign Headquarters Opening this Thursday September 10th. This will take place at the campaign office located at 628 Pitt Street in Cornwall and will last from 5:30-8:30 pm. This will be followed by a Meet and Greet in North Stormont this Saturday September 12th at the home of one of her supporters. Refreshments will be provided at both events.

“We are utilizing this launch week as a tool to continue to build on the work we’ve done in the past weeks and mobilize our supporters. We know that this government has called this election earlier than planned as a tactic to outspend their opponents. And that could not be truer than here in SDSG. Fundraising and volunteer recruitment will be key factors if we want to defeat this government”, said Clement.
