Kanata Ontario – The Cornwall Colts jumped out to a 3-0 first period lead and cruised to a 5-2 victory over the Lasers in Kanata Thursday night.

Dean Derouchie, Tristan Elie and Parker Krol each had a goal and an assist as the Colts improved their record to 9-6-2 for 20 points.

Nick Lalonde (pictured here) also scored his team leading 10th goal of the season. Brennan Markell rounded out the scoring.

The Colts outshot the Lasers 39-26 with James Edwardson making 24 saves to earn his 4th victory of the season.

The Colts head to Carleton Place to play the CCHL leading Canadians on Friday night at 7:30pm before wrapping up their weekend with a home game vs. Smiths Falls on Sunday afternoon.

The Colts and Bears face off at 3pm Sunday afternoon at the Ed Lumley Arena on Shoeless Joe’s Game Day.

Tickets for Sunday’s game are available at Shoeless Joe’s on Brookdale Avenue in Cornwall. A Family Pack (2 adults, 2 children) of tickets is only $20.
