St. Georges Quebec – Eric Bertrand had two goals and two assists to lead the Cool FM de St-Georges to an 8-1 thumping over the River Kings on Friday night.

Francois Ouimet had the lone marker for the River Kings, while Jeremy Vigneault-Belanger chipped in five assists for the Cool FM.

Pier-Olivier Pelletier was solid in goal, turning aside 29 shots to earn the victory for St-Georges. Pete Karvouniaris was chased from the crease and replaced by Julien Giroux after St-Georges’ fourth goal.

Tonight the Cornwall River Kings (0-2) hosts Riviere-du-Loup (1-1-1) in its home opener. Game time at the Civic Complex is 7:30 p.m.
