Lieutenant General Marquis Hainse to honour veterans at Cornwall Remembrance Day Ceremony

Cornwall Ontario — Lieutenant General Marquis Hainse will be the City of Cornwall’s Remembrance Day ceremony this morning at 11am. The event, which honours veterans and those who lost their lives in war, takes place at the Cenotaph on Second Street West.

On Saturday, November 7, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Cornwall and District held the organization’s annual awards ceremony and banquet at the Cornwall Golf and Country Club. Service awards were presented to volunteers, as well as awards for Little Brother and Big Brother and Little Sister and Big Sister of the Year.
