CORNWALL – St. Lawrence College is holding a silent auction in support of the local United Way – Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry on November 24, 25 and 26, 2015. All members of the public and the college community are invited to attend the silent auction and help support United Way by bidding on the 50 prizes available between 11:30am and 1pm in Aultsville Hall on St. Lawrence College’s Cornwall campus. All bids must be in by 12:30pm on November 26.
SLC held the first annual silent auction for United Way in 2014 and raised more than $1,000. This year, the goal for the silent auction is to raise more than $5,000 for United Way. There are a variety of prizes donated by SLC staff and local businesses, including a 2-hour concert by singer/songwriter Graham Greer, jewellery, gift certificates, children’s toys, and more.
