River Kings' Fan Appreciation Game is SundayCORNWALL – Yes, it’s the River Kings’ Fan Appreciation Game this Sunday.  Not only are the River Kings dropping their ticket prices for Sunday’s “Fan Appreciation Game”, the team will also introduce a couple of new potential fan-favourites.

Cornwall hosts St-Georges on Sunday afternoon at the Civic Complex. The puck drops at 3 p.m. Tickets are only $10 for adults and $5 for seniors/students/children. There will also be a “Skate with the Kings” after the matinee.

Newly-acquired forwards Cory Pecker and Alexandre Gauthier will make their highly-anticipated home debuts with the River Kings.

Pecker has already appeared in two road games for Cornwall, scoring in his first LNAH game. The skilled forward has had North American pro stops in the ECHL and AHL, where he suited up in 311 contests, scoring 142 points and adding 287 penalty minutes.

Gauthier, meanwhile, will be a fan-favourite for different reasons. In 35 career LNAH games with St-Georges and Jonquiere, he has earned 168 penalty minutes.

Cornwall travels to St-Georges tonight (8 p.m.) to take on the Cool FM and former River Kings defenceman Sasha Pokulok.
