Cornwall Colts wrap-up pre-season
Cornwall Ontario – The Cornwall Colts dropped a 4-3 decision to the Hawkesbury Hawks to wrap up their CCHL pre-season schedule.
Grant Cooper and Nick Lalonde each had a goal and an assist for the Colts. JD Pogue scored the other Cornwall goal.
The Colts outshot the Hawks 34-31 with Liam Lascelle getting tagged for the loss despite making 27 saves.
The Colts open the CCHL season at the league wide showcase with a game this Saturday vs the Pembroke Lumber Kings at the Bell Sensplex. Game time on Saturday is 2pm.
Cornwall’s home opener is scheduled for Thursday, September 8th vs the Brockville Braves at the Ed Lumley Arena.
