The annual fundraiser is integral to the operation of the seven free mentoring programs provided by Big Brothers Big Sisters of Cornwall and District.

The event sees over 200 teams of local bowlers lacing up to help the non-profit agency raise close to 30% of their annual operating budget.

“We are already seeing new teams signing up for this year’s event and look forward to seeing even more new teams join us!” said Executive Director Amanda Brisson.

Brisson said the influx of new teams is an encouraging sign that, with the community’s help, BBBS will meet and possibly surpass the sum raised last year.

BBBS mentorships instill trust and self-confidence in the youth enrolled and provides opportunities for them to learn leadership skills and try new things, all while having fun.

Join over 1000 bowlers and help raise funds to support Big Brothers Big Sisters free mentoring programs for area children and youth!

Start the ball rolling by contacting Big Brothers Big Sisters of Cornwall and District by phone at 613 933-8035 or by email at cornwall@bigbrothersbigsisters.ca. Also checkout the Facebook event page.
