Cornwall, Ontario – The United Way Centraide of Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry Board of Directors are pleased to announce the newly appointed Director of Operations – Meagan MacDonald Bingley.

Meagan comes to the United Way Centraide of S.D. & G with 10 years experience in the Insurance industry, she was the past Vice President of the Board of Directors for the Cornwall Chamber of Commerce, Chair and one of the founding member of the Cornwall Chamber of Commerce’s Young Professionals Network. Megan has also donated volunteer hours with local charities such as Children’s Treatment Centre, Baldwin House and The United Way Centraide of S.D.& G.

“To say that I feel privileged to have the opportunity to work for the United Way would be an understatement. This isn’t something that I usually share, but growing up I went through some tough times. I have witnessed first-hand what it is like to struggle to make ends meet. This experience has given me an increased drive to help others. Joining the United Way team will allow me to truly make an impact on people’s lives. I look forward to this new challenge and serving the community with integrity, commitment and passion. I am proud to say that I am a United Way hero, and I cannot wait to get started!” said Meagan MacDonald Bingley
