Take a Veteran to Dinner SDGA was born of a strong desire to show appreciation for the efforts and sacrifices of Canadian Veterans in the past, and more recent conflicts.  The night is a unique opportunity for Cornwall and area communities to join together in personally thanking the Women and Men who sacrificed so much for Canada.  We need to show our gratitude to our current and retired Women and Men and their families in a tangible way.  Donations from Individuals and Corporate Sponsors will cover the cost for veterans and their partners.  The event has been organized and directed by a dedicated committee composed of a diverse community group.  The celebration will be held at The Ramada Inn on Sunday October 28 2018.  Cocktail hour is at 5:00PM followed by dinner at 6:00PM.

Where we fail, however, is in honouring the soldiers who came home alive but forever changed.  We also need to show our gratitude to our current and retired servicemen and women and their families in a tangible way.
