The free workshop for educators offers beginner-friendly coding fundamentals to teach coding in Kindergarten to Grade 12 classrooms

Cornwall, Ontario – Canada Learning Code is bringing its free two-day TeacherCon workshop to Cornwall this weekend. The Teachers Learning Code program has been designed for educators with little to no coding experience to be able to teach coding fundamentals to their students.

TeacherCon will provide how-to guides, hands-on training, lesson-planning tools, mentor support and access to an educator community for sustainable support and collaboration.  Takeaways from TeacherCon will include Teacher Guides, access to an online lesson-planning platform, community support for afterward.

WHEN: October 27 & 28, 2018. 9:30am-4:30pm

WHERE: NAV Centre, 1950 Montreal Rd, Cornwall, Ontario, K6H 6L2

Building off Canada Learning Code’s experience teaching thousands of youth across the country to code, our tips and tricks to get started, resources to familiarize yourself with code, plus lots of easy to follow and even easier to implement coding activities to empower and teach the future generation of technologists across Canada.
