Cornwall, Ontario – Michal Carr made 20 saves to backstop the Colts to a 2-1 victory over the Nepean Raiders at the Ed Lumley Arena Thursday night.

The Colts outshot the Raiders 36-21 to improve to 8-10-3-0 for 19 points and into a tie for 7th overall in the CCHL standings.

Ethan Mulhearn and Alex Gagnon provided the offence for the Colts.

Cedric Matte, acquired last week in the David Poirier trade with Carleton Place was named the Cornwall Toyota Hardest Working Colts Player of the Game.

The Wendy’s Restaurant 3 Stars were First Star Alex Gagnon (COR), Second Star Tristan Poissant (COR) and Third Star William Venne (NEP).

The Colts next game is Friday night in Brockville. Game time is 7:30pm at the Brockville Memorial Centre.

The Colts return home next Thursday, November 8st to host the Pembroke Lumber Kings. Game time is 7:30pm at the Ed Lumley Arena.
