Since 1971, the Santa Claus Parade has been something to look forward to every year in Cornwall.
Since 2000, the parade is the responsibility of the Service Club Council, who assumes finding the sponsorship and the planning of all activities of the Santa Claus Parade. Every Year, a committee who operates under the direct supervision of the Council is formed to operate this activity. This committee works together to make sure that Cornwall has a memorable parade every year ensuring that all children, young and old, have the opportunity to enjoy Santa’s visit.
The Parade is funded solely by the generous donations of Sponsors and Donors and contrary to popular belief, does not receive any public funding. That is why your help is so important in keeping this tradition alive. No donation is too small.
HOW TO HELP
1- Get Sponsors
If you know of a business who might be interested in sponsoring the parade, get in touch with us. We will find time to visit with them. There are many benefits to sponsoring the parade, one of which is seeing all the smiles on children’s faces!
2- Give!
Indeed, no donation is too small! You can donate by visiting our website at http://cornwallsantaclausparade.com
3- Volunteer
Putting up such an event requires lots of bodies. The parade always needs people to volunteer in various areas. If you are interested, please contact us.
4- Participate
Of course, none of this matters if the public does not participate! Put a float in the parade! It’s fun and it’s great exposure! visit our website at http://cornwallsantaclausparade.com to register your organisation today!
