5 questions with Sarah Gauthier of Vicious Varieties

1- What is your organisation and how long has it been around?

We are the Vicious Varieties Car Crew and we started everything at the end of 2017. This was our third year of existence.

2-What does your organization do and who does it support or benefit

We do many things, from car shows to cruises to weekly meets and more recently due to covid restrictions we started Birthday Drive bys for members of the community, all they had to do was ask and we’d do our best to scoop up as many as we could to help make someone’s day a bit better during these tough times. Also any of our events that we plan always has a local charity as its benefactor. Beyond 21 being at the forefront due to being the first to have requested our help.

3- What differentiates your organization from others

Vicious Varieties was created to bridge the gap between all the different types of car groups(classic cars, import cars, hot rods, trucks, bikes, the list goes on)and bring them together for a common cause, which is to help the community. There are now many new car crews that have been created in the area that have been forming relationships with the more experienced car crews. It is wonderful to watch that happen.

4- How does your organization make the community a better place

We help make the community a better place by becoming part of the solutions rather than add to the problems in the world. When we started the crew there was a negative stigma of car enthusiasts gathering in the city. After 3 years of hard work we have all noticed a shift in the community now having more of an appreciation for what we are and what we are about.

5-How can people get involved with your organization?

This is actually the best part. We’ve changed our membership multiple times to find the best fit and for the remainder of 2020 and any future years it will be a FREE membership! We will of course accept donations to assist with the costs of hosting our charity car shows and events. We just ask that your car/truck/bike is unique and has a look of being loved by you.
