Winter Parking Restrictions in Effect
As of December 15, parking on any roadway in the City of Cornwall between the hours of 1 a.m. and 7 a.m. is prohibited – regardless of weather forecast.
This allows for the efficient clearing of snow throughout the winter. Restrictions remain in effect until March 1, 2021. The fine for parking on the street during this time is $30.
The City of Cornwall also asks that residents do not block sidewalks with their vehicles. Blocking sidewalks creates challenges for sidewalk plow operators, and creates a safety hazard for pedestrians.
