If you ask someone what’s their favourite season of the year, more often than not, they’ll pick summer time. Winters can be a tricky time that makes it difficult for humans to endure happily. Harsh climatic conditions are often associated with barring people from doing their day-to-day lifestyle activities. For most, the weather can prevent one from enjoying outdoor exercise; however, with the right kind of gear and dressing, one can beat all odds. If you would like to take advantage of the excitement of winter exercise, knowing how to dress will greatly help you to stay warm and comfortable while on your outdoor winter activities. Below are some ways to dress for various outdoor activities especially for wintertime.

For camping and hiking activities. Fleece attire is a good choice when you are outdoors in the cold. Always layer your outfits, for instance, you can put on a lightweight, insulated vest, coat or jacket. They will lift your style game in case you require to remove a layer when it becomes warm. For the pants, choose breathable and waterproof bottoms. While selecting boots for winter hiking, go for the ones that are versatile and offer great functionality. Givenchy boots will give you comfort at each step by cushioning the feet and allow for easy grips. They will protect you even more against the elements such as water and snow as they are waterproof.

For Ice skating and sledding. For winter outdoor activities, you will be exposed to harsh elements that will call for comfortable and warm attire. Fleece provides comfort all day while you enjoy yourself in the cold climate. Ice skating is an activity that requires one not to be weighed down hence a lightweight down coat would provide warmth as well as permit you to freely move without overheating. For the bottoms, you can put on something which will offer you a greater array of movements, such as sweatpants and leggings.

For Snowboarding and Skiing. The winter season can be lots of fun, especially with the snow. It’s the opportune time to engage in more vigorous activities such as skiing and snowboarding. Snowboarding is very different from ice skating as the sliding is done on a much softer surface. For a beginner, wearing the appropriate cold-weather attire will allow you to freely move with ease while staying warm. Begin with the top layers first like wearing a wool top or fleece beneath your outerwear. The jacket ought to be breathable, insulated and waterproof with preferably many pockets to offer storage for different bits and pieces of gear. For the bottoms, invest in some insulated, long-lasting snow pants for women with a waterproof and windproof finish. The majority of the snow pants come with articulated knees for easy movement, an elasticized waistband to keep you comfortable and sealed seams to prevent snow from climbing up the calves.

Accessorize regardless of the activities. Depending on the outdoor activity, having the right winter accessories will offer style and aesthetics to the outfit. You can choose to complete your look with a neon-coloured winter hat or maybe go for a head accessory, such as fluffy earmuffs or a beanie. Remember to hire a helmet for protection when engaging in more dangerous activities such as skiing.

You can mask your hands in fur-trimmed gloves or mittens to allow for easy manoeuvre of equipment
