Love them or hate them, eggs are good for you. Aside from being a source of protein, they have a number of other incredible health benefits. Eggs are known for being healthy, but do you really know why? In this article, we’re going to be looking at some of the health benefits of eggs that you may not know about, so keep reading if you are interested in finding out more.

Source Of Choline

Choline is a nutrient that is needed by everyone in order for us to be able to form cell membranes and brain function. Choline is essential to the memory, and as such an important nutrient for humans to have. It is also especially important during pregnancy and when breastfeeding. The reason for this is that you need choline for normal brain development of the baby.  If you’re now itching for something with egg, Egg Club has what you need!

Full Of Nutrients

The whole egg is rich in nutrients, giving you pretty much all of the nutrients that you need. In fact, they are extremely useful when it comes to getting some of the hard to get nutrients such as Vitamin B12 as well as certain minerals such as iodine. You already know how important it is to get all of the right vitamins, nutrients, and minerals from the food that you eat, and eggs are an easy way to fit them all in.

Essentially, eggs are the complete package. They contain all nine essential amino acids which we must get from our diet, as well as the majority of vitamins, meaning there is less need for you to take supplements.

Supporting Heart Health

There have been studies conducted that suggest eating eggs may be an effective way of supporting your heart health. Choline and Betaine are both important nutrients when it comes to protecting the heart, both of which eggs are extremely rich in. There was a study conducted in China in which half a million people took part, and it suggested that if you eat one egg per day, it may be able to reduce the risk of heart disease and stroke.

While this is true, it doesn’t mean that you can give up on all the other aspects of your diet. Eggs need to be consumed as part of a healthy and balanced diet in order to be effective. Get them in at least one of your meals, but don’t overdo it.

Could Be Useful For Weight Management

If you’re struggling with your weight and the amount of food that you consume, eggs are a fantastic option. The amount of protein in them leaves you feeling fuller for longer, and if you eat them in the morning, you are less likely to snack throughout the periods between meals. This will help reduce the amount of calories you are consuming, helping you manage your weight better.

We hope that you have found this article helpful, and now understand a little more about some of the health benefits of eggs. Now that you know more about how they may be beneficial to your health, you might want to try and include them a little more in your diet from now on. Good luck!
