How Do You Use Crystals For The First Time?

You can’t go wrong with healing gemstones to enhance your self-care routine. They can bring vitality to your house, remind you of your financial objectives, and help you attract love—but they won’t do it all in one fell swoop. Before crystals begin to function for you, you must personalize them and “program” them with a clearly defined goal.

Zen and Stone include these critical aspects of one’s own self-care. It’s possible to cultivate inner serenity and harmony by including aromatherapy and zodiac signs in your everyday routine. Zen and Stone teach you how to cure yourself from the inside out via various approaches.

5 methods to clean your crystals at the ideal times of the day

Before using any new crystals, make sure they’re cleansed and charged. Depending on where you bought them, other people may have touched them before you, leaving their energy behind—excellent or negative.

Consider washing your gemstones whenever someone else has touched them to remove their spiritual fingerprint. An ancient crystal tucked away for some time might benefit from a fast cleansing if you ever come upon it.

Even new crystals should be cleaned before using them. The people who handled them in a shop or transit may have left traces of their energy. So before you even shop for tanzanite gemstones or other crystals, make sure to learn how to properly cleanse and charge them.

Clearing your crystal buddy may be done in a variety of ways. It’s up to you to choose the one that works best for you:

Use sea salt

You may clean your crystals by using sea salt and water. As long as the crystal isn’t too fragile, you may use sea salt. It’s not good to submerge porous stones like pyrite or hematite in saline water because of the risk of damage.

Add dried sage, basil, or lavender to the bathwater to improve its cleaning properties.

Use running water

If you have the opportunity of leisure, you should soak your crystal in a basin of water and leave it there overnight. Then, beg the Universe to eliminate all of its negativity as you do so. Cleansing the stone and infusing it with knowledge are two of my favorite things to accomplish.

Under a full moon, set them up.

If you’d want to purify your crystals, set them on your windowsill during the next full moon.

Bathe them in moon water

Pure distilled water that has been charged by the full moon’s electromagnetic radiation is called “moon water.” Soaking crystals (as long as they aren’t too porous!) is one of the many inventive methods to put to use.

Visualize cleansing

You may use visualization to help you achieve your goals. Close your eyes and imagine a beam of cleaning light sweeping over your crystal the next time it needs a pick-me-up.

In six simple steps, you may learn how to program your crystals.

Crystals become powerful after being “programmed,” or devoted to a particular goal of your own design. After you’ve cleared the crystal, now is the perfect moment to do it. I’ve experimented with a few different approaches to programming my crystals with intents before settling on the following:

  • You may hold the crystal in your hands. (f you can, use your left hand since your left side is where you’ll be receiving.)
  • Stand or sit down near a window or in a well-lit area.
  • Say out loud, “This crystal is for the greatest benefit, and I offer it to the Universe as a gift. Love and light are all that I ask for.”
  • You may then program the crystal to do a particular task. You may use this stone to help you with everything, from finding a new job to improving your self-esteem. Keeping the stone in your left hand, imagine and experience what it would be like if you were to attain that goal.
  • Finish the procedure by stating loudly, “I dedicate this crystal to the [your purpose].”
  • Wearing your stones for seven days is optional, but it helps me feel more connected to them. This is the most effective method for energizing them, in my opinion.

The delicate nature of crystals necessitates that they are handled with care and tenderness. It would be best to store your crystals in a bag or a silk scarf while you’re not using them to prevent them from fading in the sun.

Make sure your crystals are clean and set your goal before using them. To maintain them in peak condition, use these methods.
