Cornwall Public Library’s Summer Reading Club registrations have begun. The popular summer long program is returning in full force after a two-year absence and runs from July 2 to August 27. Kids ages 2 to 13 are invited to sign up today to receive weekly incentives prizes as they meet reading challenges. Programs such as Toddler Tales, Eco Heroes, Lego Inventors are among many offered this summer and are created with this year’s theme in mind, “Inventors and Innovators.” The focus is having fun while learning and reading. Reading is key. The more library books read, the better the chances of winning the grand prize, a Nintendo Switch console along with games and other prizes. The draw for prizes will be held at the closing of the club late in August Joining the club with a free Cornwall Public Library card also means participants and another person can enjoy riding Cornwall Transit buses for free all summer long. The Library is grateful to Cornwall Transit for this unique partnership and to the Rotary Club of Cornwall for their financial contribution.
