Our seniors explore different facets of theatre i.e. improv, scene studies, technique, and monologues. We were excited to see that our TikTok videos have been seen 987.6K times with 124.7K “likes”.  More recently, prominent influencers have dueted with these videos including J.J. Niemann, a Broadway actor.

One of the Act II Seniors stated, “I could never have imagined that I would ever be acting on stage”! Our theatre company is constantly amazed. We see them convey a range of emotions with courage, fortitude, and charm. They blossom and flourish as they find their expression in the arts. They become more vibrant and alive.

It’s not surprising that research shows that “when older adults are exposed to acting instruction, memory and cognitive functions improve significantly.  They also have a greater sense of well-being.” By forming the Act II Seniors Theatre, SVTC commits to creating theatrical opportunities to explore the aging journey and make a positive impact on our seniors’ lives. The more fun and mayhem the better!

SVTC has been providing the Cornwall area with high-quality community theatre for the past 17 years from musicals and comedies to drama. Our talented actors are aged 6-96. We recently acquired our own theatrical venue for all our performances.
