Cornwall, Ontario – Shipyard Kitchen Party is set to present an original musical of the Great War titled “100 Years from Now” on Saturday, November 11, 2023, at Aultsville Theatre.

“100 Years from Now” is a heartwarming story that follows two brothers and the women they love as they recount their triumphs and tragedies during World War I. The musical is based on the inspiring life of Mae Belle Sampson, one of the first women to enlist in the Canadian Army Medical Corp. The show takes the audience on a musical journey from Georgian Bay to Vimy Ridge and beyond. It features a blend of dramatic storytelling, stunning archival imagery, and an original folk music score.

The musical promises to be an emotional rollercoaster that combines uplifting and humorous moments with poignant themes. The show offers a glimpse into Canada’s coming of age during the Great War and is sure to leave a lasting impression on the audience.

Tickets are currently available for purchase at the City of Cornwall Box office locations (Cornwall Aquatic Centre and Benson Center) or by calling 613-938-9400. Those who purchase tickets at the City of Cornwall Box Office locations will be charged a $1.50 per ticket facility fee. Tickets will also be available for purchase at the Aultsville Theatre Box Office one hour before the showtime, subject to availability. Those who wish to attend the musical are advised to use the code “100YEARS” for presale tickets. Also, tickets can be purchased online at Ticket Pro.
