Cornwall, Ontario – Excitement is building for CAPE 2024 (Cornwall & Area Pop Event) as the highly anticipated pop culture convention gears up to welcome its next featured guest, the renowned Canadian actor Matthew G. Taylor. The event is scheduled for April 20 and 21, 2024, at the Benson Centre in Cornwall, Ontario.

Matthew G. Taylor has earned acclaim for his iconic role as Nemesis in “Resident Evil: Apocalypse” and has a notable list of film credits under his belt, including “Immortals” as Mondragon, “Gothika” as Turlington, “Exit Wounds,” “Skulls,” “Boondock Saints 2,” “Lucky Number Slevin,” “Cinderella Man,” “Pacific Rim,” and “Detroit Rock City” as Chongo.

Not only has Taylor left his mark on the silver screen, but he has also showcased his talent in hit television series such as “The Umbrella Academy,” “SEE,” “The Strain,” “Flashpoint,” “Killjoys,” among many others. His versatility as an actor has captivated audiences worldwide, making him an ideal addition to the CAPE 2024 lineup.

Before delving into acting, Matthew G. Taylor served as a police officer for the Ontario Provincial Police for five years. He also pursued his passion for fitness as a personal trainer and honed his skills in martial arts, earning a black belt in karate over fifteen years of training. Despite graduating from college in 1994, Taylor’s dedication to his craft remains evident, as he has recently returned to further his studies in acting.

The Cornwall & Area Pop Event (CAPE) has gained a reputation for uniting celebrity guests, artists, exhibitors, and cosplayers to create an immersive experience for attendees. With Matthew G. Taylor joining the lineup, fans and convention-goers can look forward to engaging with the talented actor, hearing about his experiences, and perhaps even catching a glimpse of his martial arts expertise.

CAPE organizers announced their first featured guest for 2024, Kaniehtiio Horn, last month. As April 2024 approaches, anticipation continues to build, and attendees are eager to experience the magic of CAPE once again.
