Toronto, April 17, 2024 — Tim Hortons, one of Canada’s most iconic coffee and fast-food chains, has announced the nationwide launch of its new Flatbread Pizza, now available at participating locations across the country. With a starting price of just $6.99, this new menu addition promises to deliver both taste and value, reinforcing Tim Hortons’ commitment to expanding its lunch and dinner offerings.

With four varieties to choose from—Bacon Everything, Chicken Parmesan, Pepperoni, and Simply Cheese—customers have already begun praising their quality and value. We caught up with some of the people lined up for the launch. “I was honestly surprised at how good it was,” said Emily, a student at St.Lawrence College. “The Chicken Parmesan had a really homey feel, just what you need during a late study night.”

Another customer, Mark, a local contractor, shared his excitement for the new menu item. “The Bacon Everything pizza just blew me away. It’s like they took everything I love about breakfast at Tim’s and put it on a pizza. It’s a game-changer for lunchtime.”

“The launch of Flatbread Pizzas marks a significant milestone in our journey to innovate and expand our menu beyond the traditional breakfast and coffee options,” said Hope Bagozzi, Chief Marketing Officer at Tim Hortons. “We’ve seen tremendous enthusiasm in our test markets, and we’re excited to bring these delicious pizzas to all of Canada.”

Here’s a closer look at the new offerings:

  • Bacon Everything Flatbread Pizza: Priced at $7.99, featuring double-smoked bacon, a mix of mozzarella and Monterey Jack cheeses, herb and garlic cream cheese, all topped with Everything Seasoning.
  • Chicken Parmesan Flatbread Pizza: A twist on the classic Italian dish, this pizza includes slow-cooked chicken, Parmesan, mozzarella and Monterey Jack cheeses, priced at $7.99.
  • Pepperoni Flatbread Pizza: A traditional favorite with pepperoni, mozzarella and Monterey Jack cheeses, available for $7.99.
  • Simply Cheese Flatbread Pizza: Catering to both cheese lovers and vegetarians, this option features a rich blend of cheeses atop a vine-ripened tomato sauce, costing just $6.99.

“Our Flatbread Pizzas are not just an excellent lunch or dinner choice but are also perfect for family dinners or gatherings with friends,” Bagozzi added. “They offer a fantastic option for a satisfying meal that’s ready quickly and won’t break the bank.”

Additionally, starting May 1, customers will have the convenience of ordering these pizzas through the Tim Hortons app for delivery, making it easier than ever to enjoy a slice of Tims at home or on the go.

With the introduction of Flatbread Pizzas, Tim Hortons continues to diversify its menu, adding to its already popular range of Loaded Bowls and Loaded Wraps. This move is part of the company’s broader strategy to attract a wider audience, looking for affordable and hearty meal options throughout the day.

Note: Prices mentioned are subject to applicable taxes and may vary by region. Additional charges may apply for modifications. The availability of products can vary by restaurant and are only available for a limited time at participating restaurants across Canada.
