President Joe Biden’s decision to step aside and endorse Vice President Kamala Harris as the Democratic nominee has created quite the stir, especially as it underscores the need for fresh leadership in facing today’s political climate. This bold move prompts an urgent question for Canadians: Is it time for Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to consider a similar transition?

Trudeau, who has led Canada for nearly a decade, has seen his popularity plummet to its lowest point since taking office. Recent polls show his net approval rating has dropped to a dismal -38, reflecting significant public dissatisfaction with the way he runs this country. Economic issues, such as rising inflation and housing unaffordability, have been particularly damaging for him, along with controversial decisions regarding pipelines and fossil fuel production, as well as a few scandals.

Biden’s move to endorse Harris is not just about stepping down; it’s about recognizing the power of new leadership and knowing when your time is up. Following the announcement, Americans donated millions of dollars to Harris’s campaign within hours. This showcases enthusiasm and support for this transition. Where there was despair now lies renewed hope!

I truly believe a similar change would be beneficial for Canada.

A new leader could bring fresh ideas and a renewed sense of purpose to address our country’s pressing concerns. A change at the top could symbolize resilience and adaptability, and quite frankly, the only move if the Liberals want a fighting chance in the next elections.

Biden’s decision to pass the torch to Harris highlights the potential benefits of leadership transitions. Given Trudeau’s record-low popularity, it might be time for him to consider doing the same. Otherwise, Pierre Poilievre might become the shining object that Canadians turn to in the next elections.

It’s not just Trudeau.. but the liberals as a whole and the NDP as well. Most of these have been groomed by the young global leaders of Klaus schwaab and the world economic forum. This is bigger than just Trudeau. Poillievre, so far, seems to be standing against the WEF And that is what this country needs

I am a member of the World Economic Forum, Nothing wrong with them. I get emails to watch the videos of their meetings
This is a CONSPIRACY and not true at all
BTW, When I joined the WEF, Pierre Poilievre was a member also. He cancelled his membership to keep the conspiracy theories going

Trudeau is doing well, We got a year + before the elections. I look up to him having to deal with hate groups who harass him constantly.
Just this month the IMF announced Canada for the fastest growing economy in years. Why did that happen? His investments he made in $10/day childcare that got more people to work. Bringing in immigrants who were talented in certain jobs to fill all the empty jobs left after the pandemic and the list goes on and on.
There has been a constant smear campaign by the Conservatives, many lies and people with questionable education fall for it.
In June our economy rose another 2.8%. We have the least debt in the G7 countries. The whole world is struggling with housing, inflation and more because of post pandemic and two wars raging. Trudeau will decide when its time & here’s hoping that all these conspiracy theorists in Cornwall, smarten up & do some research instead of listening to lies, rage and hate on social media.
Don’t trust polls. Polling companies are mostly Conservative run. I did a poll myself, asking people on social media if they ever been polled, 75% said not in their lifetime & the ones who did get polled said the 1st question was, “how did you vote the last federal election”. If they replied Liberal, NDP or Green, they were told the survey was over. 1.3K people replied to this poll. Also do not trust MSM. During the Toronto-St. Paul’s by-election 2,250 were sent to the wrong address. Many were sent 3+ voter cards. When we complained to Elections Canada, all they said was sorry & they will investigate. Not one MSM told the public about this. Canada is under attack by outside forces & I think in December we will start seeing results from the National Security and Intelligence Committee. There is onc retired member of the HOC, who I am sure will be named.
Whatever Trudeau decides, just leave him alone and let him finish his job

One more comment. Cornwall needs to start offering Civics courses. If people knew their civics, what level of government is responsible for what and knew how this country works, they would not fall the the conspiracy theories & lies!
