Since 1933, the Cornwall Kinsmen Club has been raising funds and putting them right back into the community where they’re needed most. Each year brings new challenges, so the club adjusts its giving to match the Community’s Greatest Needs. To guide that work, the Kinsmen focus on seven main areas:
• Relief of poverty
• Advancement of education
• Culture and the arts
• Health and welfare
• Youth enhancement
• Public safety
• Community service
Every year, members take part in a strategic planning process to decide how much support will go to each of these categories. All applications from local groups are reviewed by club members, and funding decisions are made from there. Community groups can also submit requests at any point during the year through the application form on the Kinsmen website.
Today, the Kinsmen presented a $2,500 donation to Beyond 21 under their Public Safety priority. This category supports organizations whose primary goal is to strengthen safety and wellbeing across the community. Beyond 21 helps adults with developmental disabilities explore their dreams and build the skills and connections they need to reach them.

Of the $2,500 donation, $1,000 will support Beyond 21’s ongoing operations, while the remaining $1,500 will help purchase equipment and supplies used in participant programs—similar to past investments in tools like cameras and other creative resources.
The Kinsmen Club also extends a heartfelt thank-you to the community members who make these contributions possible—from TV Bingo players and local merchants to everyone who participates in or supports Kinsmen fundraising events.
