Cornwall, Ontario — The Social Development Council of Cornwall and Area’s and the Seaway Valley Community Health Centre are excited to announce an all candidates debate on the topic of Social Justice and Wellbeing in Cornwall on the evening of September 22nd, 2015 from 6-8pm at Seaway Valley Community Health Centre at 353 Pitt Street in Cornwall Ontario.
As part of Community Health and Wellbeing Week across Canada, the debate will focus on the candidates’ points of view about the growing concern surrounding social justice and wellbeing in Canada and Stormont, Dundas, South Glengarry. They will be given the opportunity to present ideas and solutions they intend to implement should they be given the opportunity. The Social Development Council of Cornwall and area and the Seaway Valley Community Health Centre believe all community members have the right to know positions taken by our local leaders on these important topics. The candidates will be asked to answer several questions about Social Justice and Wellbeing in Canada and in our community and how they intend to improve these situations.
All community members are invited and encouraged to attend this event; there is no prior registration required. Time permitting, there will be an opportunity for audience members to ask the candidates questions.
