6 Practical Items That You Need To Have When Your Baby Arrives

The anticipation and excitement for this moment may never get old or pass, but there are some practical things that you need to make sure you have before your baby arrives! We will go over 6 items that we recommend all moms-to-be should have on hand before their little one arrives.

Stroller

Your baby will spend a lot of time in his or her stroller, so make sure you have one that is comfortable and easy to maneuver. Choose a model with lots of storage space for all your essentials or high-end strollers which are not only beautiful but practical as well. The best feature of any new stroller is the ability to turn easily – this is something every parent needs! Once you know where you will be going with your baby, you can choose a stroller that is appropriate for that setting.

Diapers 

When your baby arrives, you will be surprised at how often they need to use the restroom. Most babies are in diapers for around two years depending on what type of diaper you choose and even though it is an expense that most parents already have set aside money for before their little one comes home with them, having a sufficient supply of diapers is always a great idea!

When your baby comes home, you will also want to make sure that they are in comfortable diapers. You may be tempted to put them into the smallest size possible for their age but it is recommended that you buy larger sizes because babies grow quickly and it can help prevent irritation of sensitive skin. 

Wipes

Whether your baby comes home in the winter or summer, it will need to be cleaned. If you are planning on breastfeeding, then you must wash them before nursing so make sure you have plenty of wipes available! Bottles

When you are breastfeeding, it is important to have bottles on hand in case your baby gets hungry while you are nursing. Even if you plan on exclusively breastfeeding for a certain period, having bottles around might help in the beginning when your milk supply is low and they need something else until it comes up!
