Cornwall Ontario — It was a cool November evening, and thousands lined up for the sights and sounds of the 2015 Cornwall Santa Claus Parade.

Pictured here is not Santa Claus and his elves. Pictured here is Mayor O’Shaughnessy and City Councillors Towndale, Hebert, Rivette, MacDonald and Dupelle. Members of City Council also took part in the Santa Claus Parade. Murphy and Clement, not pictured here, were also in attendance.

This year’s event featured over 50 floats and entries. There were hundreds of participants.

Here are the judge’s top picks:

– Best Industry: Walmart Logistics

– Retail: Melody Music

– Best school: Holy Trinity Catholic Secondary School

– Best small float: Mrs. Claus and her family of elves

– Best service non-profit: Cornwall Wildcats

– Best local band: Sea Cadets

– Best visiting band: Brockville Lions Steel Band

– Best dance group: Zumba with Crystal

– Best clown: Donald Richardson

Kudos to the Parade Committee and to everyone who participated in this years parade!
