Walk for Kidney Disease – Cornwall Hosts Annual Kidney Walk

 Cornwall, August 7, 2017:  The Kidney Foundation of Canada invites the community of Cornwall to sign up for the annual Kidney Walk on Sunday, September 10th, 2017 at the Lemoureux Park bandshell. Participants and volunteers can register themselves or walk teams online at www.kidneywalk.com. All donations raised by walk participants and sponsors will go to The Kidney Foundation of Canada.

Walk 5km for someone you love at Cornwall’s Kidney Walk and become part of Canada’s largest community event dedicated to raising funds for kidney research and programs that help support the 1 in 10 Canadians living with kidney disease.

The walk will start at 11:00 am with participant and sponsor registration beginning at 10:00 am. Following the event, participants are invited to enjoy complementary refreshments and a guest speaker sharing their personal story as someone who has been touched by kidney disease.

The Kidney foundation of Canada is the national health charity committed to kidney health and improved lives with kidney disease.
