The 7th annual Seekers Choice Awards and 8th year anniversary fundraiser for the Heart & Stroke foundation was packed with glamour last Saturday as the Seeker Chicks gave out 10 awards to small businesses and individuals who have made a mark on our community over the last year and a half.

Optimist Swine from Cornwall Ribfest accepted the Performing or Musical Artist Award. The winner? Ryan Lalonde.
Brianna Ladouceur was named Athlete of the Year sponsored by the Cornwall Speedway
Optimist Ralph Brunton presented the Volunteer of the Year award to Terry Muir. The award was sponsored by the Optimist Club of Cornwall.
Jason Setnyk gave a memorable speech and presented the Contribtor of the year award.
Lisa Gray, our Contributor of the Year
We tried to make jokes. Thanks for laughing even when they weren’t funny!
Amanda Gaucher of Floral Expressions took the Existing Business Award Home.
