Alan and Audrey Bain Exhibition begins July 25th

Alan and Audrey Bain are pleased to invite everyone to an exhibition of recent landscape paintings – the result of several trips to the Algonquin and Haliburton regions, Bancroft and Ompah, Ontario.  Audrey will present a selection of acrylic landscapes done “Plein Aire”. Alan will show 29 new paintings, among these standard watercolours and 16 new landscapes in the format of varnished watercolours.

The couple have been active for many years, participating in the Cornwall and region artistic scene. Both are members of the Society of Canadian Artists, Alan is also an Elected Member of the Canadian Society of Painters in Water Colour. Audrey Bain served for 10 years as Director of Cornwall Regional Art Gallery.

In support of the new Cornwall Arts Centre, Alan will contribute a percentage of his sale profit to that cause. Cornwall has acquired the building, but it now requires considerable renovation to suit the considerable array of artistic talents in Cornwall and SD&G.

Alan will also present the 3rd. edition of his novel, “Kimberlite Adventure.”
