Have you had a chance to check out the Circle of Lights in Cornwall recently? The City of Cornwall’s Parks and Landscape team, in collaboration with Municipal Works, Cornwall Fire Service, and Bergeron Electric, has gone the extra mile this year by installing more than 12,000 feet of lights. This impressive display includes the enchanting Circle of Light, situated at the Brookdale Avenue traffic circle.
The Circle of Light serves a special purpose – to commemorate the diverse religious holidays that coincide with the upcoming festive season. Todd Lalonde, the Parks and Landscape Supervisor, expressed immense pride in the dedication and hard work put in by the city’s staff.
However, the City needs our assistance in safeguarding this beautiful display. If you happen to witness anyone tampering with or causing damage to the Circle of Lights, please don’t hesitate to inform the City of Cornwall Police.
Todd Lalonde shared his disappointment regarding the damage inflicted on the lights last year, emphasizing that the Circle of Lights is meant to bring joy, excitement, and a sense of warmth to all who pass by or take a moment to enjoy the spectacle with their loved ones in nearby parking lots. Have you had the chance to experience the magic of the Circle of Lights for yourself?
