Mark Your Calendars: Afro Diversity Festival 2024 Press Conference Insights

On June 22nd 2024 I attended the International Afro Diversity Festival’s press conference.

It was well planned and attended, and the members of the team provided valuable information about this three day festival in Lamoureux Park on July 12, 13 and 14, 2024.

The following is the schedule of events:

Friday July 12 from 4pm-8pm. Indigenous performers plus others.

Saturday July 13 from 11am-10pm. One Love Project (Bob Marley cover band).

Sunday July 14 from 11am-6pm. Cuban band.

Many other performances from cultures all over the world and several vendors selling items along with many food vendors.

The team is looking for volunteers over the three day festival and you can find more information about that and many other things on their Facebook page (Festival International Afro & Diversités de Cornwall SDG).

Please see the attached photos from the press conference featuring some of the participants present at the press conference, including Pop N’ Fluff, Henna tattoos, a photo booth and amazing music by the Clautel. It was an exciting and very informative event!
