LTE: What is she insinuating?

Dear Editor

There are a number of things I don’t think have been done correctly by the Progressive Conservatives, over the past few years.  Many citizens of Ontario have these thoughts, but during this investigation, by the RCMP, to have the Leaders of the Opposition parties making comments, that undermine this investigation, shows (i) how little they care about the people of Ontario, (ii) how little respect they have for the RCMP and (iii) that they will do anything, in the political arena, to merely try and score a few points – whether those points have any basis or not.

Yesterday, the NDP Leader, Marit Stiles said, courtesy of CityNews youtube video,[1]  in response to the Premier saying that his government is being an open book, during the RCMP investigation, that she is demanding the Premier make a statement.  The NDP Leader, Marit Stiles, states, either of the government or the RCMP will “…tear out all of the chapters you don’t want us to read…”  Is she accusing the RCMP of not doing a proper investigation?

Instead of harming the people, of Ontario, by undermining the RCMP process, perhaps she should focus on a real health-care solution – like getting Nurse Practitioners covered under OHIP.

She knows the Premier can’t make comment.  Is scoring political points so important she doesn’t care about the people?  Shame on her for undermining the RCMP, their investigation, and the people of Ontario.
