A message from the BBQ Smoker Boyz: “We are raising funds to support Maison Baldwin House’s upcoming project that will provide a separate, residential program for women and girls who are escaping Human Trafficking. Cornwall is a hub for Human Trafficking – it is happening here at an alarming rate. The current shelter and programs are built to support survivors of Domestic Violence, which is a very different demographic than those who’ve survived being Trafficked. We know that the need for a separate, private building with dedicated staff and programming specific to these Human Trafficking survivors is crucial. Our goal in 2025/2026 is to make this a reality in Cornwall – and we need your help. Proceeds from this event will support this new venture and help keep women in your community safe.
