St. Lawrence College is pleased to announce a significant five-year gift-in-kind valued at $935,000 from Rose Rocket, a leading provider of transportation management software. This gift will provide students in SLC’s Supply Chain Management program with access to leading edge technology and real-world learning opportunities. Media are invited to the ribbon-cutting event at SLC’s Kingston campus in honour of the gift and a newly named Rose Rocket Lab on Wednesday, November 12 at 1:30 pm.

The gift-in-kind support began this September and extends through August 31, 2030, and will provide students with access to Rose Rocket’s comprehensive transportation management system and services. The partnership builds upon a successful collaboration that began in 2022 at SLC’s Cornwall campus, demonstrating Rose Rocket’s ongoing commitment to developing the next generation of supply chain professionals.

“This partnership represents a significant investment in our students’ futures,” said Glenn Vollebregt, SLC President and CEO. “Access to Rose Rocket’s industry-leading software will provide our Supply Chain Management students with hands-on experience using the same tools they’ll encounter in their careers, giving them a competitive advantage in the job market.”

The gift will enable students to work with Rose Rocket’s platform, providing authentic, experiential learning opportunities that bridge classroom theory with practical application. This real-world exposure is invaluable in preparing students for careers in the rapidly evolving logistics and supply chain industry.

“We’re thrilled to partner with St. Lawrence College, a school that shares our belief in the power of technology to move the industry forward. Together, we’re giving students hands-on experience with tools that reflect the future of logistics and inspiring the next generation of professionals who will continue to innovate and shape what comes next,” said Mike Betts, COO, Rose Rocket.
