November Update
Hi there and welcome to our 9th edition of local spins from Bud’s Records And Kool Things!
In this edition, we have some very big news! If you haven’t already heard… Bud’s Records is moving to downtown Cornwall! We’ll be relocating to 108 Pitt street.
Our grand re-opening will be Saturday November 30th which also happens to be Emily’s birthday! If you’re in that day, make sure to wish her a happy birthday.
Relocating the store to a new place wasn’t an easy decision especially after the history at the old spot with Bud and even myself helping him set it up. But after a series of events we knew it was time to make a change. We got offered a great spot downtown at a fair price so we felt it was time to jump on it.
Here we are now, things are getting set up in the new location and so far we couldn’t be happier with the new spot. I also wanted to talk to you guys about an event that we will be hosting once a month!
As you may know, I’ve been collecting laserdisc movies for many years. I now have over 1500 in my collection. I’ve been posting some of the movies I watch online and I was asked by Nick from The Port Theatre if I would be interested in seeing how it looks on the big screen… and after we did a test run, we’ve decided to host a Laserdisc Movie Night once a month at The Port Theatre for only $5 per person!
There will be snacks, drinks, and the best popcorn in town! This month on Friday November 15th We’re watching the original Terminator on Laserdisc at the Port and everyone is welcome! Tickets are at the door and the venue seats over 350 people so come on out! Doors open at 7pm Show starts at 8pm!
Don’t forget, we invite you Saturday November 30th for our grand re-opening happening at 108 Pitt Street. We’ll have sales, draws, and our famous New Sealed $20 Records. Come on out and check out your new local record store!
