On May 10th, I spent the morning at Upper Canada Village. It was the first weekend of the 2026 season and because it was Mother’s Day, admission was free for mothers. I took the opportunity to purchase my One Pass for the St. Lawrence Parks which are now being sold so that I could take full advantage of all the benefits it provides. For more information about this, visit [Passes – St. Lawrence Parks Commission](https://www.parks.on.ca/membership-pass/#SLPCONePass).
It was a cool and sunny day and a beautiful day to revisit the village. I look forward to another season steeping back in time. On May 17th, the village celebrates Queen Victoria’s birthday.
