Walk and Roll Month is so much more than 30 days in June:  It’s a celebration of walking and rolling*; an incentive to get outside and move; a gateway to riding, walking, and rolling more often; an excuse to discover a new path or trail; a reason to join a club or participate in an event; the push to bike to work or school; and so much more! So, let’s grab life by the handlebars, lace up our sneakers and celebrate the walking and rolling people, paths and possibilities of Cornwall & SDG.

Participate in upcoming Walk & Roll Month events (see below), including the ever popular annual Sunset Community Cycle for Ice Cream on June 1st to kick off the celebrations! Download the Walk and Roll Bingo Card and see how many boxes you can check off Go local! We’ll be featuring paths, trails, groups, and destinations all  month long to help you discover all the walk and roll possibilities in Cornwall & SDG
*rolling = riding a pedal bike, skateboarding, rollerblading, using a scooter, carpooling, and using transit

Cornwall, ON – Seaway Senior Citizens Club is gearing up for another busy Fall with a wide variety of activities, classes, programs, and special events geared to those fifty plus in the Cornwall / Akwesasne area.

June 1st:  Bikes & Badges 2019 with the Cornwall Police Service (registration required) June 9th: Canal Walk on the Waterfront Trail with the Cornwall Outdoor Club de Plein Air

June 13th: 2019 Eastern Ontario Active Transportation Summit with the Township of South Stormont (registration required)

June 22:  Walk at Cooper’s Marsh with the Cornwall Outdoor Club de Plein Air

June 28:  Cornwall Art Walk (every 4th Friday)

Ongoing: Discover a local trail or path Walk or roll to a local Farmer’s Market Discover a local club or trails group Join a walking club: Seaway Valley Community Health Centre – Wellness Walkers in Cornwall Centre de santé communautaire de l’Estrie – Various locations in SDG:  Alexandria, Cornwall & PR: Casselman, Embrun, Hawkesbury
