On the daily media briefing, Dr. Paul Roumeliotis confirmed that the region now has 23 confirmed cases, one or which is a Cornwall male in his 30’s, close contact of a previously diagnosed case. The person is in isolation.
Glen Stor Dunn Lodge is also host of a viral outbreak, with 4 residents in isolation awaiting results from COVID-19 testing. “We’re hoping those results will come back negative,” said Dr. Paul.
The Winchester testing site opened today, with sites in Cornwall and Casselman set to open tomorrow.
The Cornwall site will operate by appointment only and will be open from 8:30am to 3:30pm.
The Casselman site will offer drive through testing, with video assessment and will be open from 9am to 3pm.
