We are, as this article is being written, in the midst of a global health crisis; the SARS-CoV-19 pandemic is sweeping through the world, leaving over a million dead in its wake. Vaccines are, at this time, proving unsuccessful, and the world is plunging into another lockdown. The only solution offered by our governments, or rather, preventative measures, is exercise and a healthy lifestyle. It has been conclusively proven that those who are in ill health, or those who lead an unhealthy lifestyle, are considerably more likely to become fatalities of the virus.

And, with the world in another total lockdown, gyms have once again closed their doors. Without gyms, we have only one option: to exercise at home. There are many exercises you can do at home, and providing you have the equipment, you can do just as much at home as you would in the gym. This page will hope to tell you what gym equipment will be necessary for you to have a better home workout routine. Motivating yourself at home can be difficult, but it is definitely worthwhile and will reduce your chances of falling very unwell. Here is the gym equipment you need at home to have a better workout regimen.

Free Weights

Free weights, like the previous two mentioned pieces of equipment, are absolutely essential for any aspiring home gym. Whenever you go to a public gym, the first thing you will notice is that all of the free weights are being used. It is very hard when at a busy gym, to find any free weights, not in use. This is because they are a very important piece of equipment. They can, single-handedly, transform your upper body. You should always have some free weights available at your home gym.

Treadmill

Treadmills mean you do not need to go outdoors to run, which, depending on your location, may not be allowed to do at the moment.
