Cornwall Public Library is now offering curbside pickup service until further notice. The service which began Monday, January 4 is available to those that have a Cornwall Public Library membership card. The pickup is by appointment only and library staff will initiate a call with the patron to select a time for pickup.
“We are happy to offer this service while the current lockdown continues” said Pierre Dufour, Communications and Program Manager at the library. “Fines on overdue material continue to be waived as they had been for most of 2020” he continued to say. Popular online services such as Hoopla, Ancestry, Freegal and many other are accessible 24/7 on the library’s website with more being added this month.
The pickup location is at the Sydney street entrance, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 9:30 am to 4:30 pm. Wednesdays, 12:30 pm to 7:30 pm and Saturdays, 9:30 am to 1:30 pm. All library material must be returned via the library’s drive-up book drop-off open 24/7.
