Today is Cupcake Day for the Ontario SPCA, a day that combines the sweetness of cupcakes with the joy of helping animals in need.

The Ontario SPCA and Humane Society, which is celebrating its 150th anniversary this year, is inviting everyone to join the Cupcake Day festivities by enjoying a cupcake and making a donation to support their cause. By registering for free at cupcakeday.ca, you can celebrate in a way that suits you best, whether it’s baking some tasty treats at home, buying cupcakes from a local bakery, or simply donating online.

Cornwall, ON – Seaway Senior Citizens Club is gearing up for another busy Fall with a wide variety of activities, classes, programs, and special events geared to those fifty plus in the Cornwall / Akwesasne area.

For those who love to bake, Cupcake Day offers the perfect opportunity to show off your skills and share your creations with loved ones. Not a fan of baking? No worries! You can still make a difference by supporting a local bakery and donating to the Ontario SPCA online. It’s a small gesture with a big impact, and every contribution helps provide vital care and shelter for animals waiting for their forever homes.

As a registered charity that does not receive government funding, the Ontario SPCA relies on the generosity of donors to help animals in need. By taking part in Cupcake Day, you are directly contributing to their mission of protecting animals and promoting their welfare. Your donation can help provide food, shelter, medical care, and other necessities for animals that are waiting to be adopted into loving homes.

“Cupcake Day for the Ontario SPCA is truly the sweetest day of the year,” says Carol Link, Manager of the Ontario SPCA Stormont Dundas & Glengarry Animal Centre. “This is a great opportunity to have some fun while changing the lives of animals in need in your community.”

So what are you waiting for? Join the Cupcake Day festivities and make a sweet difference in the lives of animals. Head over to cupcakeday.ca to register and donate today. Changing the life of an animal is a piece of cake!
