If you’re looking for a fantastic way to kick off the holiday shopping season while supporting a great cause, the 14th Annual Trunk Sale at Marlin Orchards & Garden Centre is the place to be! This exciting event, organized by W3G & Co., drew crowds of enthusiastic shoppers and over 120 talented vendors today and is also going on tomorrow.

Upon arriving at Marlin Orchards, it was evident that the Trunk Sale was a must-visit event this year again. The parking lot was bustling with activity as patrons eagerly sought out the perfect holiday gifts and unique finds. The vendors’ booths were a treasure trove of handmade and local products, making it a shopper’s paradise.

W3G & Co. has been hosting this event since its inception in 2010, with a primary goal of supporting local charities in achieving their missions. Over the years, the Annual Trunk Sale has grown exponentially and has raised over $250,000 for various local charities, including the MS Society, Maison Baldwin House, and Rachel’s Kids. The funds generated by this event remain within the community and have made a significant impact on the residents of SD&G.

Supporting Beyond 21

This year, the Annual Trunk Sale had a special focus on supporting Beyond 21, an organization that offers a day program for adults with developmental disabilities. Beyond 21’s mission is to help these individuals identify their dreams and provide them with the skills and connections they need to achieve their goals. The program enriches social relationships, fosters physical health, encourages curiosity, and promotes self-confidence.

By attending the Trunk Sale, shoppers not only can find amazing products but also contribute directly to a worthy cause. The $8 entrance fee is directed entirely to support adults with developmental disabilities attending Beyond 21’s day program. This support will help subsidize program fees, making it possible for even more participants to benefit from this valuable initiative.

So with a vibrant atmosphere, diverse vendors, and a strong focus on charity, you absolutely need to get down there tomorrow. I’ve been to many over the years, but this year seems to be especially well done. Don’t miss it!
