Cornwall’s business community will come together once again for one of the city’s most anticipated annual events — the Year in Review meeting, set for Thursday, December 4 at Galaxy Cinemas.

Now in its 28th year, the event highlights major private and public sector developments from the past 12 months, showcasing the people and projects that continue to shape Cornwall’s economic landscape. The Year in Review report, prepared by Cornwall Economic Development, provides a snapshot of growth across key sectors such as commercial, tourism, manufacturing, and logistics, while also identifying emerging trends that could influence future investment.

“I look forward to celebrating the investment, hard work and achievements of so many local businesses,” said Mayor Justin Towndale, who will be on hand to deliver greetings from City Council. “Our local businesses are the backbone of our economy, and the City of Cornwall is proud to support them.”

According to Bob Peters, Manager of Cornwall Economic Development, the city continues to experience healthy growth.
“We continue to see positive investment activity that is creating employment opportunities in a variety of sectors,” he said. “Existing companies are expanding and adding new technology, while at the same time we are welcoming new businesses to the city — both large and small.”
