Cornwall, ON — A brand-new era of competition and community is about to take off. Aero Concept Systems Inc. is officially launching DroneSport this Thursday, October 30, 2025, at the Benson Centre in Cornwall. The live event runs from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM (EST) and promises a thrilling, high-energy showcase of this innovative new sport.

Two of the Benson Centre’s full-size indoor soccer fields will be completely transformed for the occasion, giving spectators an up-close look at DroneSport in action. The launch will also unveil the DroneSport Jersey (V1.0) — a sleek, wearable innovation designed specifically for the DJI Neo drone, now officially named the “Player” for all DroneSport tournaments, gameplay, and events.

After months of testing and successful trials, Aero Concept Systems is ready to make it official: the DJI Neo has earned its title as “Player of the Game” and MVP for DroneSport’s debut season.

An Inclusive Sport for All

One of the most exciting aspects of DroneSport is its focus on inclusivity. Designed to be gender-neutral, age-neutral, and field-neutral, DroneSport invites everyone to join in — no matter their background or experience level. Special guest Djibril Kande of Champstrong will be in attendance to help highlight the sport’s spirit of equality and empowerment.

“This is more than a debut — it’s the beginning of a movement centered on inclusivity, adrenaline, skill-building, and community empowerment,” said Paul St-Onge, President of Aero Concept Systems and Co-Founder of DroneSport. “We are pulling together for a stronger community.”

Building a Global Platform

Aero Concept Systems has also announced that it is now an authorized DJI Consumer-level Dealer, allowing the company to supply drones, payloads, software, and accessories directly. This partnership marks a major step in developing the infrastructure needed to support DroneSport’s growth both nationally and internationally.

With the new dealership status, Aero Concept Systems can provide players with direct access to DJI Neo units and streamline the integration of DroneSport jerseys for gameplay.

The event will also reveal upcoming tournament schedules, pilot development workshops, and fundraising initiatives, while officially opening registration to DJI Neo owners worldwide.

Join the Launch

The community is invited to come experience the excitement firsthand at the Benson Centre, Field House 1 & 2, 800 Seventh St. W, Cornwall, Ontario. Representatives from Optimist International, community dignitaries, and several hundred guests are expected to attend.
