TORONTO, ON – Saying “yes” to ENCORE paid off for Gail Rochon of Alexandria. She matched the last six of seven ENCORE numbers in exact order in theSeptember 16, 2025 LOTTO MAX draw to win $100,000!

Gail, a retiree, said she’s been buying LOTTO MAX tickets for every draw for 15 years. “I randomly chose this game one day and I’ve been loyal ever since,” she shared while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to collect her winnings.

The 63-year-old was filling up her tank at the gas station when she decided to check her tickets. “I heard a loud noise and thought I broke the machine,” she said with a chuckle. “I nearly passed out when I saw I won! All I could say was, ‘Winner, winner, chicken dinner!’ I immediately thought, ‘My husband’s not going to believe this.’ I told a few family members and, as I suspected, they didn’t believe me at first.”

Gail plans to invest her windfall for the future.

“Winning is such a cool and amazing feeling. It’s truly a dream come true,” she concluded.

ENCORE offers 22 ways to win and can be played in conjunction with most lottery games for an extra $1. There are two ENCORE draws every day.

The winning ticket was purchased at Express Mart on Main Street North in Alexandria.
