Two Deceased Following Shooting on Leitch Drive

Cornwall, ON — On Saturday, Jan. 3, 2026, members of the Cornwall Police Service (CPS) responded to a reported shooting on Leitch Drive.

Upon arrival, officers located three individuals who were known to one another and had sustained serious injuries. Two of the individuals were pronounced deceased at the scene. The third was transported to hospital with serious injuries and is currently listed in stable condition.

Police believe this was an isolated incident and that there is no ongoing risk to public safety. Officers remain in the area as the investigation continues.
