WARRANT, UTTERING THREATS, CRIMINAL HARASSMENT

Cornwall, ON – A 26-year-old man from Oshawa, ON, was arrested on Nov. 24, 2025, on the strength of an outstanding warrant and charged with criminal harassment – repeatedly communicate as well as uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm. On Sept. 7, 2025, a Cornwall Police Service officer began investigating a threats complaint. It is alleged the man sent repeated unwanted communications to an individual known to him and made death threats. A warrant was subsequently issued for his arrest. On Nov. 24, 2025, the man was located at the courthouse. The warrant was executed, and he was returned to cells to await a bail hearing.

Cornwall, ON – A 27-year-old woman from Cornwall was arrested on Nov. 24, 2025, and charged with fail to comply with undertaking. It is alleged on Nov. 14, 2025, the woman was bound by an undertaking with the relevant condition to not communicate with her ex-girlfriend. It is also alleged on this date, the woman was in communication with her ex-girlfriend. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On Nov. 24, 2025, the woman attended police headquarters to address the matter. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on Dec. 16, 2025.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – A 32-year-old man from Cornwall was arrested on Nov. 24, 2025, on the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged on Sept. 30, 2025, the man was scheduled to attend court and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for his arrest. On Nov. 24, 2025, police responded to an unwanted person complaint, and an investigation ensued. The man was located, the warrant was executed, and he was later released to appear in court on Jan. 3, 2026.

FAIL TO COMPLY, SHOPLIFTING, POSSESSION PROPERTY OBTAINED BY CRIME, USE OF CREDIT CARD, ASSAULT WITH INTENT TO RESIST ARREST

Cornwall, ON – A 33-year-old man from Akwesasne was arrested on Nov. 24, 2025, and charged with the following: 

  • Eight counts of fail to comply with probation order
  • Three counts of theft under $5,000 – shoplifting
  • Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000
  • Use of credit card
  • Assault with intent to resist arrest

It is alleged on Oct. 25, 2025, the man was bound by two separate probation orders, each with the relevant condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is also alleged on this date, the man attended a Second Street East business, selected merchandise and left the store without making an attempt to pay for the items. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued.

It is alleged on Oct. 27, 2025, the man was bound by two separate probation orders, each with the relevant condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is also alleged on this date, the man attended another Second Street East business, selected merchandise and left the store without making an attempt to pay for the items. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued.

On Oct. 30, 2025, a Community Safety Officer (CSO) began a fraud investigation after an individual’s wallet was stolen from their motor vehicle. It is alleged on Oct. 27, 2025, the man was bound by two separate probation orders, each with the relevant condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is also alleged he used a stolen credit card and was in possession of property obtained by crime.

As a result of the investigations, led by the CSO, reasonable and probable grounds were developed for the man’s arrest.

It is alleged on Nov. 9, 2025, the man was bound by two separate probation orders, each with the relevant condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is also alleged on this date, the man attended a Second Street East business, selected merchandise and left the store without making an attempt to pay for the items. It is further alleged the man assaulted the Loss Prevention Officer (LPO) at the business and subsequently fled the scene. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued.

On Nov. 24, 2025, an off-duty LPO located the man at a Ninth Street West business and contacted the CPS. After a brief pursuit, the man was located by police. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
